Roadmap
What we are working on next. Priorities can shift — this is a rough guide, not a promise.
In progress
- Compress to a target size — e.g. “under 100 KB”.
- Before / after comparison — a slider to compare the original with the result.
Planned
- Clipboard & folder support — paste with Ctrl/Cmd + V and drop whole folders.
- More keyboard shortcuts for a faster workflow.
- Translated help, FAQ and format pages in German, Spanish, French and Dutch.
- Accessibility polish — focus management, contrast and screen-reader review.
Exploring
- Animation preservation for GIF and animated WebP.
- Colour profile handling (sRGB / ICC).
Later, and separate
- FormatFlash Cloud — an optional, paid API and cloud service for automation. It would be a separate, opt-in product; the free converter stays local and upload-free.
