1. Who we are

FormatFlash ("we", "us") operates the website at formatflash.com. We are the controller responsible for the processing described in this policy. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. Images you convert

FormatFlash converts images entirely in your browser. Your files are read locally, processed with the Canvas API, and saved back to your device. They are never uploaded to, stored on, or inspected by our servers. Closing the page ends the process and leaves no copy behind.

3. Server and hosting data

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as your IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamp to deliver the site securely and to prevent abuse. This data is used for security and operations only and is not used to identify you.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We do not set our own cookies for the converter. Third-party advertising, described below, may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser to measure and personalize ads.

5. Advertising

This site displays ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can learn more about how Google uses data in advertising at Google's "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" page. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings and the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out tools.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, personalized advertising is subject to your consent choices.

6. Third-party services

We load a small number of third-party resources: Cloudflare Pages for hosting, the jsDelivr CDN to serve the heic2any library used for HEIC decoding, and Google AdSense for advertising. These providers may process technical data as described in their own privacy policies.

7. Analytics

FormatFlash does not currently run a web analytics service on this website.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

9. Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
